Jim Hunter

Chief Executive Officer

Education: B. AgEc, University of New England; MBA, Queensland University of Technology; GAICD

Jim Hunter leads the Water & Carbon Group teams in both the United States and Australia.

He is experienced in early-stage venture management at CEO level, with a track record of establishing and operating five successful start-ups.

His passion is building businesses and initiatives, driving them from conception through to design and the implementation of strategy to commercialize intellectual property.

Jim is dedicated to addressing PFAS contamination in Australia and the United States, leveraging the Water & Carbon Group’s patented LEEF System® technology.

Amanda Bochow

Chief Financial Officer

Education: B.Com & B.Econ (Business Finance & Accounting), University of Queensland; Chartered Accountant (CA), CA ANZ

Amanda is the Chief Financial Officer at the Water & Carbon Group, responsible for managing and controlling the company’s finances.

After starting her career in Big 4 accounting, she gained more than 20 years of experience working with several high-profile international companies such as BHP Billiton, Petronieos (London) and Morgan Stanley (London).

Amanda joined the WCG team in 2020, with a desire to work in a leading role for a company who shares her interest in sustainability and innovation.

Nick Ganzon

US Country Manager

Education: M.Sc (Product Development), Rochester Institute of Technology; B.Sc (Mechanical Engineering), Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Nick Ganzon is the USA Country Manager for the Water & Carbon Group, responsible for building the company into one of the leading PFAS treatment providers in the US landfill leachate market.

Nick brings more than 32 years’ industry experience in business transformation, new product development, product management and continuous improvement. Throughout his extensive career, he has driven strategic business growth with his adept skills at analyzing business processes and implementing process improvements which streamline operations, optimize costs and advance organizational goals.

Nick joined the WCG team to be part of the solution to addressing the PFAS contamination crisis in the solid waste, wastewater and water sectors.

Jeff Travis

VP of Engineering

Education: B.Sc (Mechanical Engineering), University of Idaho; MBA, Saint Mary’s College of California

Jeff Travis is the VP of Engineering and forms part of the Water & Carbon Group (WCG) team in the United States. He is responsible for the design, fabrication, and on-site operation of the LEEF System® used for PFAS removal from landfill leachate and other wastewater applications.

With more than 24 years’ industry experience, he brings a strong record of designing, manufacturing and installing wastewater treatment equipment across the world. As a proven leader, his management, engineering, project management and sales skills play a vital role in the to roll-out of the LEEF System® in the United States.
